A MOTHER AND DAUGHTER ART EXHIBITION  June 8 – July 24, 2012
Southern Queensland Institute of TAFE’S (SQIT) Toowoomba campus recently hosted an art exhibition showcasing a student’s witty and colourful artwork.
The exhibition, titled ‘Paper and Paint’ was a combined mother and daughter event featuring art by Karen Ashurst and SQIT Diploma of Visual Arts student Sharna Ashurst, and was curated by fellow Visual Arts students as part of their assessment.
Sharna Ashurst spoke on the night discussed the artworks. Cindy Giles of the University of Southern Queensland spoke about articulation into art programs at university.

The supervising teacher was Jo Murphy.
